Johannes Hahn is an Austrian politician who has served as European Commissioner since 2010. Since December 2019, he is the Member of the Commission in charge of Budget and Administration. Johannes Hahn has held positions in the Austrian government, including as Minister for Science and Research, as well as various management functions in different sectors of the Austrian economy and industry. He holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Vienna.
