Ann is the Board Chair for Khan Academy, and President of the Benificus Foundation. Ann is a co-founder of The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University, and serves on the Board of the Crux Alliance, and the Advisory Boards of Climate Imperative and Schoolhouse.org. She has served on the boards of the Environmental Defense Fund, What’s Next California Advisory Committee, The University of California at San Francisco Foundation, and the Rice University Board of Trustees. In 2022, John and Ann Doerr collaborated with Stanford University to launch its first new school in 70 years: The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.
