Liisi holds a PhD in Computational Systems Biology from Imperial College London, where she studied the transformation of low-grade gliomas and genetic vulnerabilities in glioblastoma. She previously researched neural stem cell epigenetics at Karolinska Institute and brain tumour microenvironments at Uppsala University, where she ranked first in her class. A cum laude graduate of the University of Tartu, she has received multiple scholarships, including the Imperial College President’s Scholarship. Her work focuses on translating systems biology into patient benefit.
