Georg Knill has been President of the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) since June 2020. He has served as Managing Partner of the KNILL GRUPPE since 2002 and is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rosendahl Nextrom GmbH. Since March 2026, he has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of Borouge Group International AG. Within the IV, he held several leadership roles, including President of IV-Steiermark (2016–2020) and Vice President prior to that. He trained in mechanical and industrial engineering at HTL Weiz.
