Elisabeth Zehetner, born 19 March 1977, serves as Austria’s State Secretary for Energy, Startups and Tourism since March 2025. Previously, she founded and led oecolution austria, promoting climate protection through entrepreneurship and innovation. Before that, she held senior positions at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, leading initiatives for startups, young entrepreneurs, women in business and SMEs, as well as communications and target group management. She studied at the University of Vienna and completed executive management training at LIMAK.
