Dr. Markus Richter is State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation. Previously, he served as State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Federal Commissioner for Information Technology. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, most recently as Vice President, and at the Federal Office of Administration. In these roles, he was responsible for key areas of government modernisation, digital transformation, and migration and integration policy.
