Lukas MANDL is an Austrian elected official, who has been a Member of the European Parliament since November 2017 and was re-elected in 2019 and 2024. He cares mainly for security, the economy, geopolitics as well as local and regional entities. Mandl serves as the EPP’s Coordinator for the DEVE-Committee and as a member of the LIBE-Committee, the JURI-Committee and the special EUDS-Committee. In his geopolitical outreach Mandl is active regarding the Middle East, the Western Balkans and the transatlantic partnership and contributes to the delegations responsible for China as well as the ones for Africa and the EFTA-countries.
