Edward McMullen is a former U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein (2017–2021), where he strengthened bilateral ties and led efforts in foreign direct investment. He now serves as Senior Policy Advisor at Adams and Reese LLP and holds several board roles domestically and abroad. In addition, Ambassador McMullen is actively engaged in family private equity and investment projects. A frequent WEF participant and speaker, he has also advised U.S. presidential campaigns and Fortune-25 firms. He is a trustee of the Kennedy Center and was awarded South Carolina’s highest honor, the Order of the Palmetto.
