Since March 2025, Alexander Pröll, LL.M., has been serving as State Secretary in the Federal Chancellery. Prior to that, he was Secretary General of the People’s Party from January 2025 to March 2025, and from 2021 to 2025 he held the position of Federal Managing Director of the People’s Party. Alexander Pröll began his professional career as Head of Office for the Secretary General and Federal Managing Director of the People’s Party. From 2020 to 2021, he served as an advisor in the Cabinet of the Federal Chancellor at the Federal Chancellery. His academic background includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law, which he completed in 2017 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Business Law, which he obtained in 2015 from the same university.
